Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The preservative suppresses microbial growth, which is what allows a reconstituted vial to be accessed more than once without immediate contamination risk.
Supplied in a 30ml multi-dose vial with a butyl rubber stopper. You will need this to bring lyophilised peptide powder into solution.
